Responsibilities
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest. No day will be the same, but each day you’ll strive to:
Housekeeping team operations management, recruitment and training, rostering & timesheet approvals
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel's guest rooms, common areas and facilities
Implement & maintain our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies within the team
Manage deep cleaning schedules, repair escalation, housekeeping projects, and budgets to metrics/targets
Conduct audits & checks to ensure compliance within housekeeping
Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
Ensure a clear line of communication between housekeeping and other teams within the hotel
Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager and be the housekeeping expert

About You

The successful person must have:
Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes
Demonstrated ability to problem solve, work together with departments, and manage budgets
High standards of attention to detail, cleanliness and communication skills (written & verbal)
