We’re a brand new hotel to our portfolio! As a result, we’re looking for Local Hosts (Reception/GSA) to join the team and wider Veriu Group family.
Our new apartment hotel opened in September this year and is located adjacent to Sunshine Station, currently undergoing a major redevelopment as part of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan. Upon completion, the Masterplan landmark project will transform the Station into a transport 'superhub' linking Melbourne Airport with both the CBD and regional Victoria.
Featuring 90-apartments, Punthill Sunshine is represented an attractive accommodation option for both business and leisure travellers, and it offers a mix of fully self-contained modern studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments together with a large conference space that can be turned into 2 spaces. Responsibilities
First impressions are everything! And as our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest, which is why we’re looking for individuals who are relationship-focused and take pride in their work. You'll:
Lead by example in the high standard cleaning of guest rooms, common areas and facilities, teaching new starters your style and efficiency
Supervise and provide guidance, direction, and training to the housekeeping teamto ensure they meet standards and benchmarks
Provide feedback on room conditions, particularly areas that require deep clean, repairs or replacement to maintain room standards
Ensure our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies are implemented within the team
Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
Ensure a clear line of communication between housekeeping, front office, sales and maintenance
Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager and be the housekeeping expert
