Perfectly positioned right next to Sunshine Station, soon to become a major transport superhub, our new Punthill Sunshine hotel (opened in Sept 2024) is located at the heart of Melbourne’s booming western region.
With significant government investment fuelling growth, a thriving corporate market, and a lack of upscale accommodation in the area, the potential is enormous. Business is all about relationships, and your role is to make sure that when local companies need a place to stay, we’re the first name they think of—with a proposal already in their inbox, making it easy to say yes!
Responsibilities
We've got all the tools and support you need to be successful. Where you'll come in, is:
Driving direct corporate sales (B2B) to increase production and generate new corporate relationships
Navigate and secure opportunities associated with major projects and institutions
Cold-call, knock on doors, generate new leads & develop a strong corporate pipeline
Increase brand awareness by improving current relationships & build strong relationships with new clients
Conduct site inspections, client visits, attend industry events & work with a team-orientated approach
Develop and implement sales plans and develop a targeted approach to grow our business to exceed targets
This role is the only sales role at Punthill Sunshine, so we're looking for someone that loves taking ownership, driving results and having autonomy in their role. This is a great entry into our group for a sales person wanting to move into a national role in the future, or for an experienced hotel reservations professional to enhance their sales career.

About You

The successful person must have:
Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
Experience in B2B sales
High standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal)

A hunger to achieve targets and succeed
Ability to make strategically aligned business decisions
